The City of Yellowknife has contracted Triage Metrix consulting group to conduct an evaluation of the Yellowknife Street Outreach Program. This program, currently operated by the Yellowknife Women’s Society, provides transportation and basic necessities for Yellowknife’s street-involved population. The evaluation will identify program strengths and challenges, assess the original program design, and determine areas for redesign and improvement. It will also measure staff, client, partner and overall community satisfaction.

"This evaluation will help gauge and enhance the effectiveness of Yellowknife’s Street Outreach Program,” said Mayor Rebecca Alty. “This program has a wide impact across Yellowknife, and it is important that we involve the community in the reshaping and evolution of this program to ensure the changes made reflect the needs of the community.”

Yellowknife residents can provide feedback via an online survey. Survey respondents have the option to enter a draw to win a $100 gift card from a local business. The survey is open now until March 31, 2024, and can be completed via this link.
