Strategic Investment in Northern Economic Program

CITY OF YELLOWKNIFE SECURES FUNDING FROM DIAND

The City of Yellowknife is pleased to announce it has secured funding in the amount of $28,000 from Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, Indian and Inuit Services Economic Development Unit under the Strategic Investment in Northern Economic Program.

The funding is to be utilized in the implementation of the Integrated Parks, Trails and Open Space Development Study projects.  Specifically, the funds will be used in the development of trail crossing connections and trail signage.
