Yellowknife Public Library now offers all Yellowknife residents
Tell Me More . 

TellMeMoreDatabase
Learn speaking, listening, reading and writing English, French as well as other languages such as German, Italian, Dutch, and Spanish.  
You can book our computer in the writers’ room to access this resource in addition to access from your home computers.

A set of headphones equipped with a noise canceling microphone is required to use this feature. Tell Me More can also be used without speech recognition.  Just create a simple profile to track your progress and let the learning begin.

Daisy Audio Books!


Yellowknife Public Library has partnered with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB). 

Daisybooks

The Library maintains a CNIB deposit collection of DAISY audiobook titles in your favourite genre.  

You can vist the library to borrow DAISY audiobooks if you have difficulty reading traditional print material because of a visual, physical or learning disability. You can also register online for access to thousands of books, magazines and newspapers in audio and electronic format from the CNIB Library.  Learn more about CNIB.
