Summer Book Sale (June 6 - 10) |
| The Friends of the Yellowknife Public Library present the Summer Book Sale. The sale will run from Thursday, June 7 through Saturday, June 9 in the Library Meeting Room. Don’t miss this opportunity to browse a large selection of gently used donations and library material. Early Bird Special Thursday, June 7 - 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. A $5.00 admission fee gives you and your family first pick of the available materials. Regular prices in effect. Regular Sale: Friday, June 8 - 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 9 - 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. No admission fee. Freewill donations will be acceptedfor sale items. |
Food for Fines (June 4 - 18) |
| You bring the food, we’ll waive the fines! The library is a great place...don’t let your existing fines keep you from coming to the library. Bring in non-perishable food donations, as well as any overdue library material(s) in exchange for waiving overdue fines. Your food contributions will be donated to the Yellowknife Food Bank. |
