National EMS Stem Cell Challenge
Swab - Get Registered - Save a Life…
The Fire Division is participating in the 3rd Annual inaugural National EMS Stem Cell Challenge during EMS week from June 4 to 10, 2012. The challenge is to register as many healthy committed Canadians as possible, aged 17 – 50, on the National Stem Cell and Marrow Network maintained by One Match of Canadian Blood Services. OneMatch will post your results on the national database in hopes of finding a suitable match for one of the thousands of patients who are dying and need a bone marrow transplant.
