Pest Control
The City of Yellowknife would like to remind residents that they are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of their garbage boxes which includes insect and pest control. Please remove and/or destroy wasp and bees nests to ensure the safety of the individuals responsible for collecting garbage. Insect stings can have serious affects on individuals who have reactions to such stings so please take the appropriate actions to help address this situation. The City appreciates your cooperation.
Garbage is collected on STAT holidays through the year, with the only change to the pick up schedule being around Christmas.
