The City of Yellowknife wishes to inform residents that the Open Air Burning Ban imposed by the Yellowknife Fire Division for Yellowknife has been temporarily lifted. Due to recent precipitation in the area, the hazard rating has been lowered from Extreme to Low. If conditions return to those same dry conditions experienced in recent weeks, the fire ban for the City of Yellowknife may have to be reinstated.
