RECONCILIATION: STARTING THE CONVERSATION - Summer Coffee Breaks

Beginning Wednesday, July 17, the City of Yellowknife will be downtown engaging with residents on its document, Reconciliation: Starting The Conversation, the first step towards the creation of the City’s Reconciliation Action Plan. Reconciliation: Starting the Conversation, was adopted by Council on June 24, 2019, and was developed with the goal of building relationships and trust which will facilitate valuable community input.   
 
On July 17, 24, 31, August 14, 21 and September 4, City of Yellowknife representatives will be serving coffee and donuts in front of the Post Office, located on Franklin Avenue, while inviting residents to share their ideas, thoughts and feedback to be considered in development of the City’s Reconciliation Action Plan.
 
The engagement takes place from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on July 17, 24, and August 21. From 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on July 31, August 14 and September 4.
