What does a Library Page do?
 
 
 

sorting and shelving materials;
reading shelves for accuracy (alphabetical and numerical);
maintaining periodical and newspaper files;
unpacking and packing boxes of books and other library materials;
keeping public areas tidy including clearing study tables

 
 
Are you responsible and enthusiastic?  Are you available evenings and weekends?  Are you looking for a great part-time job?  Then this may be the job for you ...
 
The position requires a general knowledge of library procedures, the ability to deal with the general public in a pleasant manner and the ability to project a positive image of the library. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods of time, have the ability to push a cart, climb a ladder and bend over to shelve books.
