Filming in Yellowknife

Yellowknife boasts a wide variety of scenic locations, an abundance of sunlight year-round, and distinct seasons including summers with up to 20 hours of sunlight. Our Capital City in the Northwest Territories is a location where both urban settings and endless jaw-dropping wilderness are within a 5 minute drive. You will find Yellowknife easily accessible by plane and road.

Yellowknife has a vibrant film industry, with professionals working in every sector of the industry, from camera crew to producers, art directors and post productions specialist. Gear is available for rental to accommodate any size of project. If you are a visiting producer, you will find an array of services and equipment available.
