The City of Yellowknife (the City) will be collecting 360̊  video imagery to identify the location and condition of city maintained trails.  This information is critical to improve long-term planning and funding of the maintenance of these assets, which are cornerstones of effective Asset Management.

Residents may see the scanning camera around town from August 2 until August 26.

The City recognizes there may be concerns regarding what imagery is collected and how it is used. To help the public avoid inadvertent capture of their personal information we are providing the schedule for imagery collection below. Imagery collection depends on both weather and equipment, so this schedule may be delayed should one or the other not cooperate. Please refer back to this website to get the latest schedule.

Residents can see when the 360 camera may be at a particular trail by checking the project schedule  below: (subject to update with changes in weather).

August 4th - Frame Lake Trail (Legislature to Staples)

August 5th - Niven Lake Trail & Rotary Park Trail

August 9th - Tin Can Hill Trail

August 10th - Deh Cho Trail
