Payments to the City
There are multiple options for making payments to The City of Yellowknife:
Please note: Normal payment deadlines apply (property taxes and utilities).
City payments to vendors
Call the Finance Division at 867-669-3490 about outstanding payments to suppliers. Arrangements for suppliers to pick up City cheques can then be confirmed. Note: Picture ID will be required for cheque pickup.
Vendors can sign up here for electronic fund transfer to ensure there is no delay in payment.
Tax Notices
All final tax notices have been mailed during the week of June 27, if you have not received your please email taxation@yellowknife.ca or visit us at Virtual City hall.
Public Hearing submissions
Citizen submissions concerning a matter being discussed at a Public Hearing may be hand delivered or couriered to 4807 - 52 Street, P.O. Box 580, Yellowknife, NT X1A 2N4 faxed to 867-920-5649, or emailed to cityclerk@yellowknife.ca
Quasi-Judicial Board submissions
Submissions to the Development Appeal Board and can be faxed, emailed or made in person or by courier to: City Clerk's Office, P.O. Box 580, 4807 - 52 Street Yellowknife, NT X1A 2N4 during regular business hours.
Public Notices
Public Notices will be posted in several highly-visible places within the City.
Development Permits
Notices of decision will be hand delivered to the applicant of the permit. Any site density variance letters will be hand delivered to the affected parties as well.
