The City of Yellowknife (the City) wishes to advise residents of road closures for the 2022 Rotary Community Parade on Canada Day occurring Friday, July 1, 2022.

The parade will start at 11:00 a.m. in front of City Hall on Veterans Memorial Drive (49 Avenue), it will then turn right onto 48 Street, and turn right again onto Franklin Avenue (50 Avenue) and continue on Franklin Avenue until it finishes by the Ruth Inch Memorial Pool. Roads along the parade route will be closed from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

There will be no parking along the parade route from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and signage stating this will be posted 24 hours in advance advising residents to move vehicles to avoid being towed and/or ticketed. The public should expect delays when driving downtown from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on July 1.
