Public Notice - Special Council Meeting July 18, 2022

Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Municipal Corporation of the City of Yellowknife will hold a special meeting of Council at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022 in the Council Chamber, City Hall.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider:

• Whether to approve a proposed “Natural Resource Extraction” use on a portion of Lot 4, Block 316, (located south of Giant Mine on the west bank of Yellowknife Bay) as a conditionally permitted use in the GM ÿ Growth Management Zone, under Zoning Byÿlaw No. 4404, as amended.
• Whether to appoint members to serve on the Mayor’s Task Force on Economic Development.

This Special Meeting has been called by the City Manager of the City of Yellowknife pursuant to Section 27 of the Cities, Towns and Villages Act of the Northwest Territories and Section 9 of By-law No. 4975, the Council Procedures By-law.
