To further reduce contact between drivers and passengers the City has replaced Punch Passes with sheets of tickets. Sheets of tickets are now available for purchase. Those who still have punch passes may exchange them at City Hall.
Yellowknife Transit COVID-19 Information
Effective Thursday November 12, 2020, Yellowknife Public Transit will be increasing capacity on all transit buses, following an exemption granted by the Chief Public Health Officer. Riders are asked to respect physical distancing where possible (greater than 2 meters between household groups). Facial coverings remain mandatory as per By-law No. 5028. Please ensure that facial coverings are in place before boarding Public Transit. Passengers are asked to enter through the front doors and exit through the rear doors.

Transit Punch Passes
As of January 1, 2021 punch passes will no longer be accepted on City Transit. Please come to City Hall to have any remaining punch passes exchanged.
