World Snow Day was celebrated on January 18, and the City of Yellowknife is always happy to see our community embracing the snow that blankets our city each winter.
World Snow Day is an international celebration that encourages people of all ages to get outside, stay active, and enjoy winter. From skiing and snowshoeing to outdoor play with friends and family, Yellowknifers continue to make the most of our beautiful northern environment.
The City of Yellowknife loves seeing residents enjoy our parks, trails, and outdoor spaces year after year and encourages everyone to continue getting outside and enjoying all that winter in Yellowknife has to offer.
Visit the parks and outdoors page on the City of Yellowknife’s website for more information on getting active outdoors in Yellowknife.
