City Dog Impound Services

The City of Yellowknife (the City) wishes to advise residents of a change in service provider for the local dog pound effective June 1, 2024.

The City’s current dog impound services provider, Great Slave Animal Hospital (GSAH), has informed the City that effective June 1, they will no longer provide dog impound services. The City of Yellowknife is pleased to announce that registration for 2024 Summer Programs will open on Tuesday, May 7, at 9:00 a.m.

Indoor Garage Sale

The City of Yellowknife is hosting the well anticipated Annual Indoor Garage Sale at the Multiplex on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

44 St. Parking Signage and Restrictions

The City of Yellowknife (the City) wishes to advise residents of signage and restriction changes on 44th Street (Summit Condos access road).

As of today, April 26, new signage has been installed on the Summit Condos access road near the parking area of École St. Patrick High School.
