The 2023 Interim Tax Levy payment is due no later than 5.00 p.m. on Friday, March 31.

The City encourages citizens and businesses to keep their accounts current by using the City’s online services, making payments through their banks, in person at City Hall by cheque and debit card, mailing or dropping off cheques at the City Hall drop box. Civic Holiday March 31, 2023

On Monday, March 27, Yellowknife City Council declared a half-day civic holiday for Friday, March 31, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. in recognition of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation’s Spring Carnival.

In observance of the half-day civic holiday, City facilities will operate as follows:

  • City Hall: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Solid Waste Facility: Closed
  • Fieldhouse: Regular hours
  • Multiplex: Regular hours
  • Ruth Inch Memorial Pool: Regular hours
