The City of Yellowknife is hosting the well anticipated annual Indoor Garage Sale at the Multiplex  on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Municipal Enforcement Community Showcase

The City of Yellowknife’s, Municipal Enforcement Division, invites community members to a Municipal Enforcement Community Showcase on June 10, 2023 at Somba K’e Civic Plaza from 12:00 p.m until 4:00 p.m.

Municipal Enforcement Officers will be on location to meet and speak with residents and provide safety information. In addition, there will be patrol vehicle tours, giveaways, free bike helmets for children who need them (while supplies last), and a free BBQ with lots of food and beverages,...

Fieldhouse Open House

The City of Yellowknife (the City) invites the public to an open house at the Fieldhouse on Sunday, May 28, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Explore the features and amenities that the Fieldhouse has to offer. City staff will be on-site to answer questions regarding group bookings, facility services and programming. There will be no charge to access the walking track and indoor play area.  

In addition, come watch a climbing competition hosted by the Yellowknife Climbing Club which begins at 9 a.m....

2023 Summer Program Registration

The City of Yellowknife (the City) is pleased to announce that registration for Summer 2023 Recreational Programs will open on Wednesday, May 24 at 9:00 a.m.

Residents can register for programs online or by calling 920-5683 or 669-3457.  To register online, residents must log in or create an account using the instructions provided online.  To explore the recreational programming available and to register, visit www.yellowknife.ca/Programs.
