Santa Claus Parade Route and Road Closures

The City of Yellowknife is pleased to invite residents to watch this year’s Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 26, 2022, starting at 5 p.m. This year’s parade theme is “Yellowknife Christmas” to embrace the diverse community we live in!

The City of Yellowknife is excited to invite all residents to take part in the 2022 Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.! Watch as 53 Street, Franklin Avenue and 49 Street come alive with a number of floats and community groups spreading holiday cheer. The City of Yellowknife is asking residents to provide feedback on proposed changes to Yellowknife’s Transit services - through the YK Transit Realign project - until November 30.
