Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Municipal Corporation of the City of Yellowknife will hold a special meeting of Council at 12:05 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023 in the Council Chamber, City Hall.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider:

City Landlines Down

The City of Yellowknife (the City) would like to advise residents that City phones are not working as a result of a network issue that is impacting local and long distance service. As such, currently residents will not be able to access 9-1-1 or reach the City by phone. As an alternative to calling 9-1-1, residents are asked to report an emergency in-person at City Hall, the Fire Hall, or the RCMP office. For City related inquiries, please contact the City by email.
