Back to SearchThe City of Yellowknife (the City) is excited to announce that Amnesty Day at the Solid Waste Facility will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
During this time, the residential $16.50 tipping fee at the Solid Waste Facility will be waived but other tipping fees will still apply.
Please note: Commercial vehicles are not included under the Residential Vehicle Charge and therefore will be charged commercial rates during Amnesty Day.
