The City of Yellowknife, in collaboration with the Yellowknife Climbing Club (YKCC), invites the community to join us for the 3rd Annual City of Yellowknife Rock Wall Climbing Competition on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the Fieldhouse Climbing Wall.

This competition will feature climbers of all ages and skill levels, with categories for kids, youth, and adults. Whether you’re an experienced climber or a first-time participant, we encourage everyone to register and take part in this exciting community event. Spectators are also encouraged to attend and support the participants.

Event Schedule:

  • 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. |Kids Competition (Ages 4-9)
  • 1:30 P.M. – 2:30 P.M.   |Youth Competition (Ages 10-14)
  • 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.   |Open (Ages 15+) & Women’s Competition (Ages 15+)

  • Same-day registration is available on-site from 11 A.M.

Safety will be prioritized, with certified climbing instructors and First Aid staff available on-site. All participants will be required to sign a City of Yellowknife Climbing Wall Waiver.

We look forward to welcoming both climbers and spectators to an engaging day of friendly competition and community spirit.

Registration will be handled by YKCC, and a small registration fee applies.
