Back to SearchThe City of Yellowknife (the City) is excited to announce two new grants for eligible small and medium-size local businesses and organizations to apply for. The City knows that businesses and organizations are still navigating the impacts of Covid-19 and these grants are intended to assist with that recovery process.
The first grant is the COVID-19 Festival and Events Grant, which aims to help reinstate or bring new events and festivals to Yellowknife. Organizations can apply for this grant once. There is a total of $30,000 of funding available for this grant, and each organization may apply for up to $5,000.
The second grant is the Covid-19 Business Recovery Grant for eligible small and medium-size local businesses. This grant program is aimed at helping businesses have the tools they need to attract and retain employees, modernize operations and build resilience. There is a total of $200,000 of funding available for this grant, and businesses may apply for up to $10,000.
