#MadeinYK Campaign

The City of Yellowknife (the City) is encouraging Yellowknifers to buy local this holiday season. This year, the City is partnering with various holiday markets to offer customers a chance to win their share of $4,000 in prizes. #MadeinYK supports Yellowknife made products, such as art, jewelry, clothes, toys, souvenirs, and food.

Shoppers who attend a holiday market and spend $20 or more with a vendor carrying locally made products will receive a ballot to enter into the draw. Ballots can be placed in the ballot boxes located at all participating holiday markets. There is no limit to the number of entries submitted. Gift cards ranging from $250 to $1,000 will be given away to several lucky winners. These gift cards can be spent at a local Yellowknife business of the winner’s choice.
