The City of Yellowknife’s (the City) Annual Garden Competition is back by popular demand!

This year’s garden competition will take place from Tuesday, August 1, 2023, to Friday, August 11. A fun way to recognize gardeners in Yellowknife who have the green thumb that beautify our city, residents can nominate local gardens online for a number of categories. The City of Yellowknife is preparing to welcome residents of Behchokǫ̀ who were ordered to evacuate their communities as a result of the threat of wildfires nearing their community and adjacent Highway.
