Back to SearchThe City of Yellowknife invites residents to ring in 2024 by joining us for our annual fireworks display. The show will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Residents can enjoy the show from the Somba K’e Civic Plaza, as the fireworks will be set off on Frame Lake.
Please be aware of the following safety reminders:
- If viewing the fireworks near Frame Lake, be sure to avoid the area where the fireworks are being set off. This area is outlined in red on the map located on our website. The sections on the map highlighted in green represent the best spots to safely view the show.
- Residents are asked to stay clear of the fireworks area until noon on Monday, January 1, 2024, to allow our crews to complete a safety inspection in the daylight; and
- Please leave pets at home.
