The City of Yellowknife has given First Reading to By-law No. 5007, a by-law to repeal and replace the General Plan By-law No. 4656.
The Council of the City of Yellowknife will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at five-thirty in the evening (5:30 P.M.) on Monday, December 9, 2019 in the City Hall Council Chamber to hear any submissions to By-law No. 5007.

The City of Yellowknife is seeking stakeholder feedback on Lottery Licence By-law 4092. This By-law, adopted in January 2000, determines how the City regulates lottery activities, such as bingos and raffles, within the municipal boundary of Yellowknife. The City is reviewing the By-law and is seeking public input on the rules regarding bingos, raffle, and lottery activities, and the licensing fee structure.

The City of Yellowknife and Northland Utilities have once again partnered to bring residents the annual Holiday Lights Competition; this year with a few exciting changes. You can now register your lights via email and residents will vote to determine the finalists. There will be no categories - just lots of bright, festive lights!
