The City of Yellowknife (the City) will be observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Thursday, September 30, 2021, to commemorate the history and societal impact of trauma caused to Indigenous Peoples by residential schools and colonization.
Select City facilities will be closed, and others will be operating with reduced hours, to allow the public and staff to honour this important day in a meaningful way. Access to public facilities will be as follows:

The City of Yellowknife (the City) invites the public to participate in online open houses for the new Zoning By-law draft from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on September 22 and 23, 2021.
On August 24, 2021, the City released a new Zoning By-law draft .
