The City of Yellowknife invites residents to view the fantastic displays of lights and decorations in our neighbourhoods using a self-guided holiday lights tour.  A map listing the locations of decorated properties is available on the City’s online events calendar.  A pdf version of the map is available for downloading. The City of Yellowknife has expanded its former Recreation For All program to include public transit passes for eligible participants. The City of Yellowknife is conducting a controlled burn in the Parker Park area from Tuesday, December 12 to Tuesday, December 19, 2017, conditions permitting.  The purpose of the burn is to remove the small piles of brush from the summer’s Fire Smarting activities. The City asks that the public refrain from entering the burn area while work is ongoing.  Residents can continue use the sliding hill and trails on either side of the area.   For more information...
