The City of Yellowknife wishes to advise residents that annual maintenance on all traffic lights will be taking place beginning Sunday, September 24 through to Saturday, October 7, 2017 .  This may cause interruptions in traffic light service. Please proceed with caution and obey all traffic signals and signs. The City wishes to thank residents for their patience and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

The City of Yellowknife wishes to inform residents that surface water lines will be turned off on Monday, September 18.  Residents should make sure to fill their tanks prior to the shut off.  After shut down, there will be an approximate two week period where crews will be disassembling and winterizing the lines. Movies In The Park will be hosted in the Multiplex gymnasium on Friday, September 15. The change in location, from Somba K’e Civic Plaza, is due to potential high winds.
