Parking Meter App Launches

The City of Yellowknife (the City) is pleased to announce that effective Tuesday August 16, Passport Parking Canada will be available for residents as the City’s new parking meter app.

Parking meters will continue to accept coins, as this is the primary method of payment. For their convenience, residents can also download the app called “Passport Parking Canada.” Please ensure you download this app specifically, as other apps will not work. Serving on City Council can be a rewarding experience. Swimming Lessons Transition

The City of Yellowknife (the City) would like to make residents aware of changes being made to swimming lesson programs at the Ruth Inch Memorial Pool.

By the end of the year, the Canadian Red Cross will be winding down their involvement with Swim and Water Safety Programs.
