Following the latest recommendations from the Government of the Northwest Territories, Office of the Chief Public Health Officer (OCPHO), the City of Yellowknife (the City) is pleased to announce the reopening of City facilities and select programming. Effective Saturday, January 22, 2022, facilities will begin opening to the public. Opening hours may differ and additional restrictions will remain in place in line with OCPHO orders.

2022 PROPERTY ASSESSMENTS

Following the latest recommendations from the Government of the Northwest Territories, Office of the Chief Public Health Officer (OCPHO), the City of Yellowknife (the City) is suspending programming and closing facilities to the public.
Effective Saturday, January 8, 2022, and until further notice, the following facilities will be closed to the public:
- City Hall
- Ruth Inch Memorial Pool
- Yellowknife Community Arena
- Yellowknife Public Library
- Solid Waste Facility
