The City of Yellowknife (the City) is pleased to announce the grand opening of the newly relocated Yellowknife Visitor Information Centre (VIC) in the Centre Square Mall. The Visitor Centre will officially open its doors on September 12, 2022, at 12 p.m. to the public.

Key Dates for the 2022 Municipal Election

The City of Yellowknife would like to remind residents of key dates to know for the upcoming election season.

The 2022 Municipal Election will take place on October 17, 2022, and is being conducted by mail-in ballot and in-person voting. Residents are eligible to vote if they are a Canadian citizen, have attained 18 years of age, and have resided in Yellowknife for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the day they vote.
