Welcome to the Yellowknife Public Library
Proudly serving residents since 1949, the Yellowknife Public Library has been located on the second floor of Centre Square Mall since October 1990. The library supports the educational and recreational reading, viewing, and listening needs of the community.
Our collection includes nearly 90,000 items in a variety of formats, including books, audiobooks, eBooks, DVDs, and more. We also provide access to online resources such as OverDrive, LinkedIn Learning, Hoopla, Rocket Languages and Novelist.
In addition to its extensive collection, the library offers welcoming spaces for reading and studying, along with programs for all ages.
