Whether you're paying a utility bill, registering for a recreation program, applying for a permit, or looking for the latest City updates, finding what you need online just got easier.

The City of Yellowknife has launched a redesigned website that makes it easier for residents and visitors to access information, services, and programs online.

As the City's primary digital platform, the website plays an important role in how residents interact with local government. The redesign is part of the City's ongoing commitment to improving service delivery and creating a more accessible, user-friendly digital experience.

Residents will notice clearer navigation, improved search functionality, mobile-friendly browsing, accessibility improvements, and easier access to commonly used services. New features such as Homepage Quick Links and the "I want to..." navigation tool are designed to help users find information and complete tasks more efficiently.

"The website is one of the most visible ways residents interact with the City," said City Manager Stephen Van Dine. "Through this modernization, we looked beyond how information is organized internally and focused on how residents access services, programs, and information in their daily lives. The goal is a new platform that improves the resident experience today while creating a stronger foundation for improved digital service delivery in the future."

Feedback from staff and residents informed the website's architecture.

The City invites residents to explore the new website at www.yellowknife.ca, discover what's new, and experience a simpler way to access City information, services, and programs.
