This sculpture, created in 2009 by Yellowknife artist Francois Thibault depicts three drum dancers. It is located at the edge of Frame Lake in front of Yellowknife's City Hall.

The City of Yellowknife, in partnership with Western Arctic Moving Pictures (WAMP), is excited to announce the return of the popular Drive-In Movie Night this summer.

This event will place on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 8:30 p.m. between the Multiplex Arena and Fieldhouse on Kam Lake Road. The gates will open at 7:00 p.m. The double feature for the evening includes Lilo & Stitch and the Fifth Element.

All attendees require a ticket. Tickets can be purchased online for $30 per vehicle or $15 per walk-in. Children aged 12 and under can attend as walk-ins for free, but must be accompanied by an adult. A designated area will be available for walk-ins.
