Statutory Public Hearing Notice By-law No. 5079

This sculpture, created in 2009 by Yellowknife artist Francois Thibault depicts three drum dancers. It is located at the edge of Frame Lake in front of Yellowknife's City Hall.

The City would like to advise residents that City Council has given First Reading to By-law No. 5079, a by-law to amend the Zoning By-law No. 5045 to permit a ‘campground’ on a portion of Lot 3, Block 569, Plan 4219 located in the Zone: KLS 2 – Kam Lake South Two (a property located near south end of Kam Lake Road).

The Council of the City of Yellowknife will hear any person claiming to be affected by the by-law who wishes to be heard at seven o’clock in the evening (7:00 P.M.) on Monday, March 25,2024 in the City Hall Council Chamber. 

Additional information and copies of By-law No. 5079 may be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall or by phoning 920-5602.

Written submissions should be forwarded not later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 to the City Clerk, Yellowknife City Hall, P.O. Box 580, Yellowknife, NT, X1A 2N4; e-mailed to cityclerk@yellowknife.ca; or faxed to (867) 920-5649.

Any person wishing to make a verbal submission at the meeting is asked to contact the Office of the City Clerk at 920-5602 before 12:00 noon on Monday, March 25, 2024.
