Large Item Pick Up will take place the week of June 8 - 12, 2026. During this week, residents (with regular Curbside Cart collection only) can have their large items collected by the City free of charge.
To request large item pickup, please fill out the Large Item Pickup Request Form and email it to @email, or call (867) 920-5600. For any questions, call the same number.
Things we pick up include items such as:
- Bulky items such as couches
- Bedframes & Headboards
- Some other Furniture
- Bicycles
- Barbeques (no propane tanks)
Things we do not pick up:
Tipping Fee Items
Items with applicable tipping fees will not be picked, such as:
- Mattresses
- Fridges
- Freezers
- Ovens/Stoves
- Microwaves
- Dishwashers
- Washers & Dryers
- Hot Water Tanks
- Cars
- Tires
- Residential Construction Waste, etc.
Hazardous Waste
Items such as these will not be picked up:
- Batteries
- Paints
- Solvents
- Oils
- Chemicals
- Oil Tanks
- Animal Waste
- Engines/Motors
- Propane Tanks
- Motor Bikes, etc.
Recyclable Items
Items such as these will not be picked up:
- Cardboard
- Glass
- Newspaper
- Grass Clippings
- Yard Waste
- Brush, Tree Trimming etc.
- Electronic Waste Items: Computers, TV's, Printers, etc.
