Ride Free to the Ramble & Ride Festival + Route Impacts

In celebration of the Old Town Ramble & Ride festival, the City of Yellowknife is pleased to offer free transit service beginning Friday, July 31 at 5:15 pm until the end of service and all day Saturday, August 1.

Taking transit to and from the festivities is encouraged as parking in Old Town is limited.

Route Impacts

• McDonald Drive will be closed to traffic on Saturday, August 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Sunday, August 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
• On Saturday,  two bus stops along McDonald Drive will be closed (Transit Route 1 will follow a detour route)
•  A temporary stop will be located at the corner of Ingraham Drive and Wiley Road for the duration of this detour
