Proper Disposal of Animal/Pet Waste
Large quantities of animal waste are required to be delivered to the Solid Waste Facility during the Residential Public Hours of Operation. The small Residential Fee for disposal is waived for disposal of the animal waste. Inform the gatehouse staff that you have animal waste to dispose of and you will be directed to the designated container for disposal.
Please note: animal waste containers, such as buckets and bins, must be emptied into a large metal container that have a small set of stairs. Plan your transportation method, container type, and weight of the containers as there will be no assistance provided to carry animal waste up the stairs to empty the container. All containers must be emptied and not disposed of with the animal waste.
Small bags of dog waste and cat litter can be placed into your residential black garbage cart for curbside cart collection.
Commercial vehicles are not included under the Residential Vehicle Charge and therefore will continue to be charged commercial rates.
For more information, please call the City at (867-) 669-3406 or email the Solid Waste Facility.
