The City of Yellowknife, in agreement with Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada, is the Community entity (administrator) that receives funding from the Government of Canada's Reaching Home program, and acts on behalf of the Yellowknife Community Advisory Board (CAB) on Homelessness.
Each year, communities have the opportunity to update their Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS) Community Plan. This includes updating Yellowknife’s current situation and progress made towards meeting priorities.

The current Reaching Home contribution agreement with the City of Yellowknife spans from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2028.
