  2. 2. Complete

Under Reaching Home, a "Special Project" is a one-time, time-limited initiative that addresses a homelessness need, fills a service gap, builds community capacity, or improves the local homelessness response system. Unlike ongoing housing support or shelter operations, special projects often focus on innovation, infrastructure, planning, prevention, or system improvements.

Funding available through the Reaching Home Special Projects stream is limited and may be distributed among multiple projects. The Community Advisory Board (CAB) reserves the right to recommend full, partial, or no funding for any application. As a result, approved projects may receive less than the amount requested.

Should a project be approved at a reduced funding level, applicants may be required to revise their project scope, activities, timelines, deliverables, and budget to align with the approved funding amount. Successful applicants will be contacted to discuss any required revisions prior to the execution of a funding agreement.
