Structure Fire on Borden Drive

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, at approximately 2:56 p.m., the City of Yellowknife Fire Division (YKFD) responded to a reported structure fire at 248 Borden Drive, which was initially reported by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

Upon arrival, the crew observed smoke emanating from the back of the building. A total of 19 firefighters were deployed to the scene, and the fire was promptly brought under control and fully extinguished.

Fire crews remained on site until approximately 4:44 p.m....

The City of Yellowknife advises that Click and Fix YK has now been successfully restored.

Click and Fix YK went offline on September 13, 2025. Since that time, residents were asked to report non-emergency issues related to City infrastructure by email. Residents are encouraged to once again submit these requests through Click and Fix YK.
