Municipal Enforcement is responsible for the execution of the All-Terrain Vehicles By-law No. 3054. No person will operate an ATV on a highway or any other area within the City unless the owner has obtained a registration certificate, license plates, and validation stickers for that ATV.

In addition to other regulations detailed in the ATV By-law, no person shall:
- Operate an ATV vehicle within the City unless that person and any passenger is wearing a safety helmet; and
- carry passengers on an all-terrain vehicle unless the manufacturer has equipped the all-terrain vehicle for that purpose and the number of passengers does not exceed the number prescribed by the manufacturer for that equipment.
