Leaf & yard waste is accepted at the Solid Waste Facility and is processed for use in the compost program. Residential yard waste with no contamination is free to dispose of and can be brought in paper (brown) yard waste bags during the Residential Public Hours of Operation.
Commercial leaf & yard waste is accepted during the Commercial Contractor Hours of Operation, and the Commercial Fee is applied for disposal.
Note: yard waste arriving in plastic bags must be emptied and taken away, otherwise the standard waste disposal rate will apply, as these are non-compostable products which negatively impact the program.
