The City of Yellowknife would like to advise residents that Jeske Park will be closed from July 18 to July 25, 2022 so new upgrades may be made. Crews will be resurfacing the multipurpose court, adding benches and a picnic table, installing an accessible basketball net, and working on accessible access trails. The City thanks residents for their cooperation.

The City of Yellowknife wishes to advise residents that effective Tuesday, April 19, 2022 the recreational toboggan hill at 51 Avenue between 55 and 54 Streets will be closed for the season. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to use caution and obey signage while heavy machinery removes the snow from 51 Avenue. Residents can expect the street to be back open to vehicular traffic by 4:00 p.m.

The City of Yellowknife is accepting applications for a Super Bingo to be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022. A Super Bingo is any bingo with a prize payout of over $50,000 and not more than $100,000. The Super Bingo licence will be issued by means of a public draw on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber. The application deadline is 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022. The City of Yellowknife (the City) would like to inform residents that Clark Builders, the Aquatic Centre design-build team, is hosting Aquatic Centre Accessibility consultations on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
