The ATCO Aquatic Centre provides a variety of spaces which can be rented out for meetings, training sessions and events.

Note: that the ATCO Aquatic Centre does not offer private/shared pool rentals.

Rental Spaces

  • Multi-purpose Rooms

    • Two rooms are located on the first floor
    • Each room has the capacity to hold 30 people with tables/chairs, or 40-45 people theatre style
    • Each room comes with tables, chairs, plugs and a sink
    • These rooms are located side by side and can be combined into one big room
    • A portable TV can be requested (free of charge)
    • Suitable for meetings, training sessions and events (e.g. birthday parties)

  • Birthday Parties and Catering

    • Birthday parties can be hosted in one or both multi-purpose rooms
    • Attendees can come to our regularly scheduled open swim at regular price
    • Hosts can bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages
    • We encourage hosts to consider the canteen operator, My African Cuisine in YK, for catering services. For catering inquiries, please contact @email 

  • Meeting Room

    • One, smaller room located on the second floor
    • Capacity of 12-15 with tables/chairs, 20 people theatre style
    • Comes with tables, chairs and plugs
    • A portable TV can be requested (free of charge)
    • Suitable for meetings and training sessions only

  • Patio

    The ATCO Aquatic Centre has a beautiful, spacious patio for anyone wishing to get a bit of fresh air between swims in the summer. The patio comes equipped with a barbecue and can be rented from June 1 to August 31, weather permitting.

How to Make a Booking

Bookings for the multipurpose rooms, the meeting room, the patio and the portable TV can all be made in-person at the ATCO Aquatic Centre, Fieldhouse, over the phone by calling a Booking Clerk at (867) 920-5683 or (867) 669-3457, or by submitting a booking request form.

Only community or sport organizations can request pool and lane rentals by contacting the ATCO Aquatic Centre. These rentals may be accommodated depending on availability.

For all bookings, payment is due in full at the time of the reservation.

Rental Information and Guidelines

  • Rentals for the multipurpose rooms, the meeting room and the patio must be cancelled 5 days in advance for a refund
  • Community or sport organizations that have made a pool or lane booking must cancel 10 days in advance for a refund
  • The ATCO Aquatic Centre does not have a kitchen
  • Hosts can bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages
  • We encourage hosts to consider the canteen operator (My African Cuisine in YK) for catering services. A variety of menu options and party packages are available
  • Birthday party attendees are welcome to use the ATCO Aquatic Centre pools and amenities with the public at the cost of regular admission; no private/shared pool or lane rentals are available
  • All rentals must follow the facility’s rules and safety guidelines

Room Rental Types

  • Room rentals

    When ATCO Aquatic Centre isn't specified, refers to one room either in the ATCO Aquatic Centre, the Multiplex or a classroom.

  • Adult group

    Refers to adults 18-59 years of age.

  • Youth group

    Refers to kids 7-17 years of age; or a person of any age with a valid student card.

  • Mixed group

    Refers to when the group is partly youth and partly adult.

  • Commercial

    Refers to a for profit group or organization that is not a registered society with the GNWT.

  • Prime

    4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays, and operational hours on weekends.

  • Non-prime

    6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.

When not specified, pricing applies to bookings during prime and non-prime hours.
