The Yellowknife Community Garden Collective is a volunteer-run NGO that operates six community gardens and one community orchard in Yellowknife. Individuals can apply for a garden plot and tend to their plot throughout the growing season.
Note: 25% of produce is donated to local organizations that serve individuals in need.

If you are interested in getting a little dirty and doing a whole lot of good, this is the right place for you.
Plots are spread out around the community at 20 - 22m² in size.
Fees are $25 per person, which includes a $10 membership fee and a $15 plot fee.
