  • Collège Nordique offers a wide variety of business, social work, and language courses, year-round.

  • Aurora College is a public college offering specific programs to address labour market needs in the North for the North.

  • Dechinta Centre for Research and Learning is an Indigenous land-based initiative delivering accredited post-secondary education and research in the North. They offer courses year-round on land-based topics such as Fish and Indigenous Aesthetics, Living the Dene Laws, Storytelling and Creative Practice, Hide Tanning, and Research Methods. In addition to more theoretical programs like Self-Determination and Governance.

  • The NWT Literacy Council produces a variety of resources in partnership with Indigenous language groups. They also do research, promote languages, and monitor government policy and funding for traditional Indigenous languages.
