Call for Recreational & Arts Program Instructors

The City of Yellowknife is looking for enthusiastic and skilled instructors to lead new Recreational and Arts programs for our community!

If you have teaching experience and a passion for sharing your skills, whether in arts, fitness, sports, culture, or specialty hobbies, we want to hear from you.

Proposal Submission Requirements

  • Program title and description (what participants will learn)
  • Target audience (age group and skill level)
  • Program length (single session, 5 weeks, 10 weeks, etc.) 
  • Day of the week to offer the program (a day that would best suit your lifestyle)
  • Time of day to offer the program (day or evening)
  • What type of facility is needed 
  • A list of materials required 
  • A resume outlining any previous teaching experience and any certificates related to the subject, such as a coaching certification
  • Please provide a current Criminal Records Check with the vulnerable sector included

  • Any extra expenses, including a proposed wage
