The City of Yellowknife was pleased to announce the return of the annual Holiday Lights Competition in partnership with Naka Power Utilities (Yellowknife) for the 2025-26 season.

Take our darkest nights and turn them into something bright for our community by making your home a beacon of light for all!

Home nominations concluded on December 19, 2025. Voting took place from December 22, 2025, to January 5, 2026.

 Five winners were announced on January 7, 2026, determined by the highest number of votes received. Each winner received a $100 cheque sponsored by NAKA Power.

All nominated homes are featured on a virtual map, enabling residents to view and enjoy the displays from their own homes.
